Good morning, Hawks, and welcome to the first day of the 2026–2027 school year!

Whether you are joining us for your very first year at Heineman or returning for another year, we are so excited to have you here. Today is a fresh start, a new beginning, and the first step in what we know will be an amazing year.

This year, our theme is ALL IN!

Being All In means showing up, giving your best effort, supporting one another, taking on challenges, and being proud to be part of the Heineman Hawk community. This year, we are going to learn together, grow together, support one another, and fly together!

A few reminders as we begin our day:

  • Please make sure you are walking in the hallways and keeping your hands and feet to yourself.
  • Be respectful to your classmates, teachers, and staff. Everyone is adjusting to a new school year today, so let's help each other out!
  • Remember to listen carefully to your teachers throughout the day. They will be reviewing important information, expectations, and routines.
  • Please check your email periodically throughout the day. If the office staff needs to communicate with you we will send you an email. For example, if a parent is picking you up early or if they dropped something off for you, we will email you to let you know. It is your responsibility to check and come down to the office at the appropriate time.

And finally, Hawks, remember that you do not have to have everything figured out on the first day. Ask questions, try something new, meet someone new, and give yourself—and others—some grace as we get settled into our routines.

We are so glad you are here, and we cannot wait to see everything we accomplish together this year.
